World of Warcraft players interested in upgrading their character to level 90 without having to go through the actual process of upgrading will soon have this possibility, Blizzard has announced. The developer revealed on the World of Warcraft blog that in the near future developers will begin testing a feature that will give players to buy an upgrade for their character that automatically takes them to level 90.
The confirmation comes after a leaked survey from Blizzard asked fans how much they would pay for such an option. It’s unclear what Blizzard will charge for the direct upgrade however, the feature will go live “soon” in The game’s publicly tested realm (PTR).

“That’s a little different from the plan we announced at BlizzCon However, based on the feedback, it’s obvious that a lot of you would appreciate the opportunity to get familiar with the new class prior to stepping into expanding the game,” Blizzard said. “This will also allow more players an opportunity to take a look at the latest end-game content and the events leading to Garrosh’s flight to Draenor. Maybe you’ll get your Legendary Cloak from Wrathion and a level 90-100 Heirloom weapon as well.”
